The Getaway is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released through Warner Bros. on June 17, 2016. This is the band's first studio album since 2011's I'm with You. It was produced by Danger Mouse, who replaced Rick Rubin after twenty-five years and six albums as the band's producer, making it the first non-Rubin produced album since 1989's Mother's Milk. The album was preceded by the first single "Dark Necessities" on May 5, 2016. "Dark Necessities" became the band's 25th top-ten single on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, a record they hold over U2 who currently have 23 top-ten singles."Go Robot" is expected to be the second single released from the album. On May 26, 2016, the band released the title track on their YouTube channel and on June 9, 2016 released "We Turn Red". While not singles, the two songs were made available to purchase the following day after their release along with as a free downloads for those who pre-order the new album. On June 14, 2016, the full album leaked to the internet. Since its release, the album received mostly favourable reviews from critics.

Metal Resistance is the second studio album by the Japanese metal idol group Babymetal. It was first released on March 29, 2016, in Japan through BMD Fox Records, and on April 1, 2016, worldwide through earMusic and Sony Music Entertainment.

Metal Resistance received generally positive reviews. The album debuted at number 39 on the Billboard 200, the highest rank for a Japanese artist since Kyu Sakamotoin 1963, with first-week sales of 12,914 units. The album peaked at number fifteen on the UK Albums Chart, the highest position reached by a Japanese band.
